Rally... na naman

Today, we are celebrating the Declaration of the Martial Law anniversary and needless to say rallies is just everywhere.

Oh men, I was walking along Valero street this afternoon when, I saw this group of people from the different baranggays of Makati. Hala! me tumawag pa sa king kabatch ko nung highschool. She was so proud to say: Kasama ako sa rally e.

I don't get why do Filipinos do this to their country. Para tayong mga bata na pag ndi makuha ang gusto idadaan sa pag ngawa at pag iingay. Hala! sabagay, back in EDSA DOS, I was there. Dun kami ng mga officemates ko sa me railings sa may fly-over. Bangis! Galing ng view ko! Pero damn, kung ndi siguro ako inaalalayan ng mga officemates ko sa likod, unting tulakan, lagapak ako sa ibaba ng edsa. waaaah don't wanna die uglier than I am now.

Anyway, what was I doing there? Do I really want Erap's butt be kicked out of Malacanang? Do I really think that there will be a difference as to who will be our President? My answer? NO! I never really wanted Erap to step down, I never wanted GMA to be our President. I was there just for the sake of experience and to know what was all the fuss all about. Yeah mababaw talaga, looking back, I wish I already have a camera for that EDSA DOS was a good photo opp. hehehe.

My stand on all this is giving, whoever the President is, chance to do what he/she has to do and us, the common tao, cooperating in the best we can. Yan ang hirap sa ting mga Pinoy, nalilimutan nating parte tayo ng mas malaking bagay, that we all have to work in order to achieve a common goal: UMANGAT ANG ATING BAYANG MAHAL. Hirap sa tin, ineexpect natin na porke't sila ung nasa posisyon sila ung mga dapat kumilos.

I never liked GMA but she's already our president, let her do her job. Minsan, ndi ko nga alam kung maiinis ako sa kanya o magiging proud for standing her ground. Let's face it, if she resigns, who will be the next president? Tapos, when we get tired of that new president we will then again take it out on the streets. It will just a cycle and once again, we will be the laughingstock of the world.

Another observation, nobody whose working in Makati is joining the rallies. WHY? sabi nga sa news, dahil we are pissed with the consequences of the rallies. Ang hirap sumakay, trapik, ang kalat sa kalye, malapit sa mga hold-uppers at snatchers. Kung tutoo na wala nang naniniwala kay GMA, sasali ang mga working class ng Makati, kaso, pagdaan mo sa mga rally anong makikita mo? HAKOT! mga musmos na bata kasama ng mga magulang nila. Sorry pero sila na mga taong walang trabaho at ndi nakakaltasan ng pagkalaki laking tax na ibinabayad sa gobyerno (na napupunta lng sa mga bulsa ng mga corrupt na opisyales!). Sila ung makikita mong nagrarally. Parang alang sense minsan.

Ewan ko. nainis lng ako kanina kasi may rally na naman. Whether I made any sense or what, doesn't matter. :) sayang ayaw akong samahan ng officemates ko pumunta sa kanto ng Paseo at ng Ayala para makakuha ako ng pictures, sayang gandang photo opp pa naman. hehehe. :)
