si Charlie, si Willy Wonka at ang mga Gray Areas
Kagabi, natisod ko tong conversation na to...
and I gave it some thought...
of course it made sense...
so share ko lang....
Willy Wonka: ndi ko na alam sasabihin ko
Willy Wonka: ndi ko na alam mararamdaman ko
Charlie : akin lang to ha:
Charlie : i don't need to know the whole story, basta simple lang ang concept ko dyan...
Charlie : pagka ganyang mga "gray areas" na pinaguusapan...
Charlie : kelangan mo i-black & white, meaning it SHOULD be either of 2 things...
Charlie : good or bad, maganda feeling or hindi, tama or mali...
Charlie : you know.. opposites.
Charlie : then you start thinking OBJECTIVELY...
Charlie : meaning, at sa kahit anong relationship 'to ha...
Charlie : think of it as an INVESTMENT...
Charlie : ang tanong e do you BOTH GAIN from it or LUGI..
Willy Wonka: ndi ko masagot
Charlie : lugi in the sense na pag isa lugi...
Charlie : that's bad business. exploitation ang tawag dun.
Willy Wonka: ndi ko masagot
Charlie : pag nadeduce mo na lugi (e.g. more bad than good), then you start thinking on how to cut back on the losses...
Willy Wonka: pano kung me mga araw na ndi lugi me araw na lugi
Charlie : not necessarily i-call off yung "deal", pero siguro kelangan mag "re-negotiate" ng terms.
Charlie : gets ba?
Willy Wonka: pano kung minsan na kayong nagnegotiate tapos, you end up na akala mo mas ok un pala ndi
Charlie : e di negotiate ulit. as long as you feel na salvageable yung deal. kung hindi, move on. dumadampot ka lang ng batong ipupukpok sa ulo mo.
Charlie : remember also that negotiation is NOT compromise.
Charlie : in anything at all, as in BATAS to ha, you could quote me on this:
Willy Wonka: pano kung takot ding magback out sa deal o bitawan ung deal
Charlie : "NEVER SETTLE FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU FEEL YOU DO NOT DESERVE"
Charlie : so unless martir ka, or masochista ka, or wala kang kaplano-planong lumigaya EVER...
Charlie : tuloy mo lang yung luging investment.
Willy Wonka: andun ako sa martir, at tanga level
Charlie : as for yung "takot" na minention mo, kaya nga kelangan iblack & white muna bago mo iassess yung deal.
Charlie : kung ganun. then it's just a question of up to when you plan to stay at that level, if may plans ka of changing levels at all.
Willy Wonka: bkit sa gantong bagay natatanga na ako
Charlie : ikaw lang makakasagot nyan. remember, di ko alam at di ko gusto malaman yung buong kwento.
Willy Wonka: sana ganun lng kasimple
Charlie : keep in mind: ikaw yung nalulugi. do not expect someone who's earning from an investment to change the deal.
Charlie : in short, sa'yo rin manggagaling yan.
Charlie : kelangan kasi natin isimplify.
Willy Wonka: onga
Willy Wonka: tama ka dun
Charlie : kasi variables yan. sabi nga sa math, too many variables renders the equation unsolvable.
Charlie : give it some thought.
